One night at the end of a hard stretch, tired and out of answers, I told the Lord I was not going to let go until He blessed me. He did. What came back was two words. Define and Refine. He defines. I am a beloved daughter of Jesus and recently discovered the depth of His love and grace for me. I've been a believer my whole life, but I've lived more like a beggar for His grace and love than someone who receives it.
I am defined by who He says that I am.
He refines me daily as I surrender.
I have been a music teacher for about forty years. Now I am an inspirational writer and teacher, sharing what He has taught me over the years.
I have two sons and am the grandmother of six grandsons and a new granddaughter.
I live in North Carolina and use the mornings to write before the day starts. I recently finished my first book, which I began 13 years ago. I share my childhood story, the seasons of loss, and most importantly, how Jesus has been my Constant Companion and Redeemer through it all. My current reading, research, and Bible studies have given me clarity, wisdom, and understanding about life. My goal is to share what I've learned with others.
